It's Show Time!
by Joe Kozlowski

The club got lucky again this year!  After avoiding such calamities as a regional blackout and severe weather in the days before the show, Sunday was a picture perfect day.  Electricity was fully restored and the temperature was in the upper 70's with no rain in sight.  The GTO gods must have been smiling down upon us!

While numbers haven't been finalized yet, there was a good turnout of GTOs and spectators again this year.  Everyone took advantage of the good weather by laying out in the sun between trips around the show field.  All of the while dj Rockin' Ronnie was "spinning the platters that matter" providing the perfect ambiance for the event.

The Knights of Columbus field worked out great for the show.  The pavilion area housed our club table, the barbeque and plenty of picnic tables for everyone to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food.  One addition that the park provided that our prior venues didn't have was a playground to help keep the kids occupied.  When all was said and done, it appeared that everyone had a good time.
