Sunday:

The Concours is over, but that doesn't mean that the fun is over... Time for the Popular Vote show!  This portion of the convention was open to anyone who had a GTO, no memberships were required.  Due to possible bad weather, the local turnout wasn't as high as previous years, but that didn't put a damper on everyone who showed up for the convention.  With 332 GTOs & A-body's, there were plenty of cars for everyone to enjoy.

Like the rest of the days of the convention, there was more going on than just the show!  Other items of interest included seminars by Bruce Crawley (Mobil One Synthetic Oil), John Sawruk (GT37 story) and Herb Adams (The Grey Ghost).

After the show and other activities were concluded, there was nothing else to do but wait for the Awards Presentation.  Starting at 7:00pm and lasting well past the 9:00pm scheduled conclusion (officially concluded at 10:30pm), all bases were covered.  This included an emotional speech from John Sawruk about Arnie Beswick who graced us with his presence for the entire convention.
