2004 GTOAA International Convention


Saturday: The Concours begins! Due to possible bad weather, the tent from the Birthday Party becomes the perfect place for the judges to inspect the cars! Just like a production line, the GTOs were lined up outside of the tent patiently waiting for their turn. In addition to the Concours, there were seminars from MPC's Joseph Stahovec and Royal Pontiac legend Milt Schornack. For some, looking at all of the cars gave them urge to do what the cars were built to do... Drive straight and fast! The 8th Annual Jim Wangers All Pontiac Dragrace at Lapeer Dragway fit the bill perfectly! Special thanks to Chris Padilla from the Land of Enchantment GTO's (New Mexico) for sending pictures of the Dragrace!!!
