Friday:

The day before the Concours is a busy one prepping for the next day's activities.  With 91 cars registered for the event, meetings for the owners as well as the judges were an important factor to ensure a successful showing.

It wasn't all work on Friday!  At 9:00am the bus for Somerset Mall was loaded up with shoppers and on the road.  After all the work was done prepping for the Concours everyone was ready to have some good food and fun at the GTO's 40th Birthday Party sponsored by Performance Years and Bob Sellers Pontiac/GMC.  Steve King & The Dittilies provided the live entertainment while the Marriot catered the party.

Now for the big surprise hit of the night... The Valve Cover Races!  Normally we would have around 10 racers and about 2 dozen spectators, this year there were over 20 racers and over 100 spectators!  Everyone had a blast cheering on their favorites.  The competition was so close, some of the races had to be ran again to determine who the winner was!  A good time was definitely had by all...
