Friday Night Bench Racing

There were no scheduled activities for Friday night, but everyone kept busy socializing and cleaning their cars.  GTO enthusiasts were arriving all day from across the country and Canada, most encountered some inclement weather, but that didn't damper their spirits!

After washing, or wiping down their cars everyone seemed to have made at least one trip around the host hotel parking lot.  Most people were getting reacquainted with old friends, or making new friends in the lot, everyone was checking out the numerous pristine cars.  Afterwards groups of people went out to eat and then headed out to Woodward Avenue to get some cruising in before the official cruise on Saturday.

Although there was some rain earlier in the day, the cruising gods smiled down upon us and stopped the rain before check-in time.  The weather for the rest of the weekend was picture perfect.
